I have an insignia flat screen TV from Best Buy, gifted to me in February 2017. Within the past 3 weeks, whenever I turn the TV on, the screen will continue to stay black, other times when I turn the TV on it will work just fine. Has anyone else had this problem
Use your warranty to have it fixed or replaced.
The screen was gifted? So was it used? or new? You don't specify how old it is originally or what model number it is.
After reviewing some of the reviews that 'Insigina' screens are getting it certainly does seem like there's an issue with on some of these units.
You may need to have it serviced.
Some other ideas, is to unplug and press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to reset the unit and try it again. But some people state that resetting it doesn't always help or work.
Take it to a TV repair shop.
Insignia is a very hit-or-miss brand. The one my friend has is over 5 years old and still going. Others have had their sets die on them with weeks of the warranty ending.
January/February is the best time to buy a new TV. Otherwise the next best time is right now -- just before the holidays. Black Friday is the WORST time to buy a new TV.
If bought with certain credit card, the factory 1 year warranty might be doubled. Contact gifter about that.
it seems there is a bad capacitor in the power supply board .... call mr engineer
This is why they are gifts
Literally any gift/free item i got from amazon croaked within a week
