I,m sure the hairdresser has some photos or perhaps you can bring some. She should suggest and show you some ideas and tips.
You could get blonde highlights. It would come out really nice on you since you have
dark blonde hair.
Just say u want a light blond shade. They could probably do it with a high lift color.
You could either get highlights on your whole head or bleach it to be a lighter shade of blonde.
Hi. I want my hair to be BLOND.
The best thing to do is show her pictures of what you want. That way she knows exactly what your end goal is.
It shouldn't be too hard since your hair is already light. Make sure you let them know if you want cool tone or more of a warm blond. The pictures will help but specifying will let her know how much toning they will need to do.
tell the hairdresser exactly how you want your hair
You will probably need a full head of highlights if you want to fully go lighter blond. Half head highlights won't turn your whole head light blond. If you have a picture of a colour that you want then bring it along with you, they can match it to a swatch to give you that colour.
Take a couple of pictures showing the shade you want.
How about exactly what you asked yahoo
Balayage. I have dark blond (mousy, I've heard) and I've been getting highlights to make it light blond in the summer and a little darker in winter. I've tried many different techniques including, single process tints, cap frosts, foils, cellophanes, ombre, and balayage. Because we're so lucky to start with a really good base color that lightens easily without brassiness, balayage can look really natural and can easily be lightened or darkened, or, high and low lights without obvious root regrowth.
Don't go to an inexperienced hairdresser. Find a colorist if you're in a major city or if not, ask for an appointment with the owner or mnager of the shop. Don't let them talk you into making an appointment with someone who has openings. Find some balayage pics of the color you want to show the stylist.
