Sometime I provide entertainment for kids' birthday parties. Ponies, etc. I get invited to eat more cake and ice cream than could possibly be good for me. Does not pay particularly well, but it's always fun.

So engineering a shitty job?
My job requires one to work until the patients are done, take call-ins at 3am or on weekends and holidays. Average work week is 60 hours. It requires heavy lifting, exposure to blood, needles, other bodily fluids and radioactive materials. I also get to constantly learn new things, meet and help many wonderful people and feel like I perform a valuable function in society. I love my profession. I've been in for 25 years and can't imagine doing anything else. But jobs are like relationships. There are good days, bad days, advantages and disadvantages to any job. So what you think of as a crummy job others might adore. It's all according to your talents, likes, dislikes, work ethic, etc. I've been a printer's devil, a glassware washer in the lab, a fry-cook, a gas jockey, worked midnights in a convenience store (by myself), fed tarantulas, took rat hematocrits, anything I had to do to get through college and get moving on my career. There were things I enjoyed and hated about all of them. Nothing in real life is sunshine, rainbows and lollipops all the time.
You sound like one of those lazy dweebs with half a brain who is going to spend your life in Mum's basement munching on Twinkies and getting early onset Alzheimer's. Too bad Mum was not up on birth control.
