Professional woman is not. Alone will be happy.
Individual desires dwell in the hearts of individuals. Not all men are alike. Not all women are alike either. What you propose is not true.
Surveys show stay at home moms are happier than even the most enjoyable jobs. This really should come as noo surprise. If work made people happier than not working, nobody would voluntarily retire.
Could be either way really. Some might be happier that way, some may be not.

parenting is ideally, a two person job. women don't have children by themselves. most would like for the fathers to be participants in the child's upbringing. and women need a break from their kids once in a while too, which means handing them off to the father. raising kids is hard work and it's exhausting, both physically and psychologically.
It depends on the women, some women prefer to be homemakers and be with their children at home often, while other may want to work. I don't think they're in denial.
