That's borderline high. If you feel it's way higher than it's ever been, yes see a doctor if it will ease your worries
He would laugh at you
140/90 is perfect
200/40 and I would ring an Ambulance
Blood pressure is a constantly changing number. One single reading at 140/90 is not enough to be concerned about. Also, what you was doing right before getting that reading might have made a difference in the reading. If you had just finished exercising, it could make a big difference.
You don't need to rush off to the hospital. Your reading is not dangerous at the moment.
But, it wouldn't hurt to take your readings over several different occasions and then make a doctor's appointment and discuss your concerns.
First, you have to consider the conditions. If you had just been exercising, of if you were upset or excited when your BP was taken, you should ignore it and take it again when you are calm and relaxed. Your BP is supposed to be higher when you exercise or when you are emotional; it's normal.
But if you were calm and not exercising at the time, you should try again within a month and see how it is. Only if it is still high should you go to a doctor. 140/90 is not an emergency, and if it is just temporary, it is not a problem.
Please go to the Hospital right now and tell them your (bp) is 140/90 both your systolic and diastolic counts are high.
If that is your regular blood pressure, yes.
A one-off reading of 140/90 is nothing remarkable.
That's borderline high blood pressure. You aren't going to die. Go to your doctor for a proper test and find out what can be done through diet, etc.

No. That's only a little above "normal".
Did you take your blood pressure more than once? One reading doesn't mean a thing.
That's high. Hypertension also does not come with any symptoms.
More than 120 over 80 and less than 140 over 90 (120/80-140/90): You have a normal blood pressure reading but it is a little higher than it should be, and you should try to lower it.
I think that's normal
Yes you should
