So for lunch i ate 2 ramen noodles with the packet, and i was wondering it because my professor said its not good for me. And i wonder can i die from it?
1st step: Inhale the air counting 1,2,3,4.

First off, you are Not going to die by eating Ramen packets. However, the 'flavor packets' are loaded with salt and MSG-which is Not good for you. I keep about a case of ramen noodles on hand-But, I use the noodles and toss out the flavor packets. The noodles-cooked separately- are great in making soups. Keep in mind though, that even cooking them separately, they will still soak up some of your soup liquid, and if freezing, you may have to add additional liquid to the soup once defrosted and reheated.

Please think. No one will sell food that you can die from. However, those little flavor packets have a lot of fat in them and regular consumption would make you fat.

I doubt you would die from eating ramen noodles in a normal manner. You would have to ingest many of the seasoning packets in order to overdose on sodium. However, it is probably not a good idea to eat them every single day, multiple times a day. Excess sodium can raise your blood pressure.
You (and I) are going to die. The questions are how and when. Ramen noodles are high in carbohydrates, and an excess of especially simple carbs causes the body to store fat. The flavoring packets are about as unhealthy a mixture of bad stuff as you can get. I try to eat lower fat, slower carbohydrates (green veggies and such) and avoid sugar (but so far not honey). It's a good eating plan, but I understand that some scholars' diets are determined by budget, not health.

No you will not die, but ramen noodles are actually deep fried. A packet of ramen is around 400 calories, so two packs is 800 calories with basically no nutritional value. Very high amount of sodium too. Consider ramen noodles a treat.

If the only thing that you eat is Ramen you can definitely have problems getting the nutrition that you need, but if it's something you eat just for lunches or something you eat for a short amount of time while you are saving money or something, you'll be fine unless there is something else going on. It certainly doesn't have much in ways of nutrition and they are a little high in sodium, but I wouldn't stress too much unless you aren't eating like anything else or maybe if it's going to be for a very long time. There are plenty of people who are perfectly healthy who eat ramen. Hope this helps.

Ramen noodles are particularly unhealthy because they contain a food additive called Tertiary-butyl hydroquinone (TBHQ), a preservative that is a petroleum industry byproduct. They're also incredibly high in sodium, calories and saturated fat. The containers packaging these noodles aren't helping much either

Honestly, they're just a sodium laden filler of empty calories. Might as well be labeled 'junk food'. They are not nutritional by any means. I know they're cheap, tasty, and fill you up. Have a sandwich and a piece of fruit. Less calories, less overall sodium, and more nutritionally balanced. Unlikely you'll die from them... but you're starving your body of proper nutrition- if this is a common staple in your diet. It's refined starch and salty additives. No better for you than eating 2 whole cans of Pringles. If you have spare time, look up the individual ingredients listed on the noodles & flavor packet. Garbage, imho.
I doubt it. If everyone who ate a lot of Ramen noodles died, the population of the earth would be GREATLY reduced. I think all he meant was a lot of them might be nutritionally bad.
Of course you cannot die from it. Like the great majority of foods noodles eaten in moderation are completely healthy as part of a balanced calorie controlled diet.
If you were to eat 20 packets of noodles in one day that would do you no harm. Excessive use of a foodstuff over a long period is what can cause harm.
Um depends ramen noodles aren't that good for you because they are made with a lot of salt and they are carbs in general but the right portions should be good
